Congratulations to Eric Lam, 2009 Top Driver Shootout Winner

Thank you everyone for attending! Congratulations Eric Lam - a combined adjusted time of 71.6. 2nd place is Jason Sams with 72.005 and Michael Do Couto with 72.02.

I'd personally like to thank those that put in many hours of work behind the scenes between each autocross - namely Rodger Ball, doing all of our scoring & results, and Jason Sams for designing all of our great courses. Jason & Alexei S., and others are always setting up the courses as well.

At the events, Kelly Collins handles all of our registrations, Rodger again does a great job handling classifications and helps with the computer all day.

Michael Do Couto is always the first to arrive and last to leave helping us out with so much stuff - the trailer would be a mess without him!

Brock Parsons and Brian Aftanas are two other names that pop out at me as individuals that are always asking what they can do to help.

Matt Medeiros is usually the one drives our truck & trailer - without him we'd be doing autocrosses in our storage unit in Gilroy!

Remember we are a 100% volunteer organization - so Matt & I couldn't do it without all of you. I'm sure Matt can mention people that I'm forgetting... It was a fantastic 2009 season... 2010 starts in early April! We'd like to do at least one Great America event as well as two EVO schools, so stay tuned!

I would also like to my my congrats to Eric Lam. Eric, time to clear off a spot on the mantel for the Fechner Cup. Nice driving!

As Kris said, we really appreciate all the help we get. Not just from the "official volunteers" but also from the people who just take the time to in the morning or after the event if to ask if we need any help. Sometime we do and sometimes we don't but we always appreciate the people who make the offer.

Thanks to all of the people who came out this year and supported our little program,. All of you car nuts are the ones who make us successful.

Thank you everyone! I am still in a bit of a shock that I finally won! I been trying to win for a few years now. I also want to extend my thanks to everyone that made the BMWCCA events so enjoyable.

Can't wait to actually see the cup with my name on it! Cool
