Do it at home!
Honda is offering the natural gas-powered Honda Civic GX sedan to consumers in California, along with a home refueling system.

The GX can go 220 miles without refueling and costs about 3.75 cents per mile to fuel while the conventional, gas-powered Civic costs 8.8 per mile. Natural gas also produces much lower emissions - 87 percent less nitrogen oxide, 70 percent less carbon monoxide and 25 percent less carbon dioxide.
Honda, always the leader in alternative-gasoline powered vehicles, again proves they're way ahead of the pack. Introducing their newest creation, the Honda FCX. With its basic platform borrowed from the Honda EV Plus, the FCX looks and drives like a real car while showing Honda's ability to create a futuristic vehicle for everyday drivers.

To power its electric motor, the FCX uses pressurized hydrogen gas. The hydrogen is forced under pressure to the "fuel cell stack," and as it combines with oxygen it produces electricity to turn a powerful motor. Water vapor and heat are the only by-products.
American Honda released the first images of its 2005 Accord V6 Hybrid, a gas-electric hybrid version of Honda's best-selling car, scheduled to go on-sale at Honda dealerships nationwide later this year. Utilizing a next-generation hybrid powertrain, the Accord V6 Hybrid will deliver power and performance above the current 240-horsepower Accord V6 with the fuel economy of a compact-class, four-cylinder Civic sedan.More news with pics here- http://andersondirect.com/
The decision comes after carefully analyzing the cars and focusing on industry trends as well as on the vehicles' performance history. Honda Certified Used Cars are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their MSRP. Other Honda cars that won this award for their respective categories are the CR-V and Odyssey.Cheap, Honda Certified Used Cars here
It took Honda 606 takes, three months, and $6 million.

Even though Honda is one of the leading hybrid brands in the U.S. they're also looking into the possibility of bringing diesel engines to North America. But the problem of stringent U.S. emission standards seems to be holding things up.
Low-sulphur diesel (which will be required to replace current diesel fuels by 2006) is cleaner than any unleaded fuel.
Engines burning diesel fuel get better gas mileage (up to 20% improvement), require less frequent oil changes, and last nearly three times longer before needing an overhaul. Diesels also get better torque, meaning quicker acceleration and better towing capacity.
