I need to replace the rear wheel bearings on my 99 E39 528iT. My Bentley manual states to use BMW special tools 33 2 115, 33 2 116 and 33 2 118 to pull and replace the drive flange/bearing assembly. Does anyone local have these for sale or rent? SIR Tools 90 (I think) will also work.

Thank you!

Hoping that someone local uses some type of scanner software package (carsoft 6.5, p.a.soft bmw scanner 1.3.6, or AutoEnginuity) that would be willing to pull the codes from my 99 528iT. I own a Peake tool but would like to have more specific codes pulled. Right now I have the ABS and DSC lights on and my cruise control does not work. A hard stop and a quick start verify that the ABS and DSC are disabled. The Peake tool pulled a code that basically informs me that wheel speed is not being transmitted. I wanted to narrow down whether this is a wheel sensor (and which one) or an ABS module issue.

Thanks,

Hi all...

My bmw cd changer in our 95 325 has decided to putz out on me.
Switched from FM to CD and it gave me an disc error message.

I thought maybe it was a bad burned cd, but when i went
to try and eject the cartridge it would not come out.
No noises or anything. Thinking that maybe it was due to
the cold, I brought it inside to warm up for a day.
Reinstalled it and still no go.
I thought that the lil eject button lit up, but it doesnt seem to
now, or at least I can not see it.

Does anyone in the Indy area have the model from a 95
that I could switch with mine and see if its mine that is faulty
or something in the wiring running to the changer?
Its the TR1003 model and installed in our 95 325i.

I could meet for lunch sometime during the week.

Thanks,
Sean

ps it does look like i have 12v dc coming from the harness
