The Hankook United States Touring Car Championship
(USTCC) is one of the best-known touring car racing series in the United
States. It features the fastest drivers in the country battling wheel-to-wheel
in high performance versions of everyday sport compact road cars and draws
huge race day crowds. The cars retain the shape of their mass production
counterparts and privateer entries from Honda, Ford, Toyota, BMW and Acura
are on the grid next to cars from teams running other makes including Audi,
Mini and Subaru. The engines can generate over 270 horsepower and the cars
accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a staggering 4.2 seconds. |

BMW CCA Club Racing provides a safe, competitive venue for
enthusiasts racing BMW automobiles. Events are run under vintage rules and
multiple classes serve to contain costs and place the emphasis on competition
and camaraderie, not spending ability. Club Racing events run throughout
the United States and are open to anyone racing a BMW automobile who meets
the licensing requirements. |
