There are a number of Spec Miata racers on this board. I think they are all in 'tax evasion' mode right now. I'm a M Roadster driver myself. Are you racing this year? _________________ John Huestis

Well does it need to be in usable condition? We have one that one day might be a spec Miata. Right now it's waiting on a cage.

Have a 1995. Had it for a year. Great fun to drive and very economical. Get a lot of comment on how neat it is. Live in Michigan. Race an ITB classs VW GTI a Waterford Hills. Miata in too good a condition to make into a spec racer yet. Maybe someday. : _________________ ITB VW GTI racer at Waterford Hills

I'd forgotten I'd even signed up here. I feel like Rip van Winkle, awakened from a deep sleep.
Here are a couple of links to locating clubs in your area: http://www.miata.net/clubs/midwest.html & http://www.miata.net/clubs/ohkywv.html.
Here's a link that will give you a pretty fair amount of information about your Miata: http://www.miata.net/faq/ _________________ l l

'Dusting cobwebs off ....."
Hey I just found this site looking for HD camera forums..found a superb review. I don't recall seeing anything about justracing.com in Grassroots Motorsports mag. Anyway, I have a 1995 Black Miata and has been in the family since it was brand new. It is my daily driver and I run HPDE at Mid Ohio 1 to 3 times a year. 3 times if I can afford the time and $.
Only 'mod' I have thus far is a roll bar and 205/15 'performance' tires. I squeaked 29.5 mpg out of her last week. It really is a pleasure to drive. I prefer it over many cars that cost much more. Only complaint is I wish it had more power and the brakes are kinda crappy. |

Welcome to a lonely place. It's been almost a year since anybody posted in this section.
Be careful about your desire for more power...it truly is addictive. OTOH, the looks you get from the other drivers when you kick the sand right back in their faces is priceless! _________________ l l

I don't own one yet but I am saving a lot of money to buy one. I will then visit this site to gain a lot of information. _________________ <a href="http://www.thecarconnection.com/make/ferrari" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Ferrari</a> | <a href="http://www.thecarconnection.com/make/suzuki" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Suzuki</a> |<a href="http://www.thecarconnection.com/make/honda" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> Honda</a> | <a href="http://www.thecarconnection.com/make/mazda" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Mazda</a></div>2009 Mazda Mazda3 |
